It was great to see Dean, Jeff, and Travis this weekend. Due to family circumstances I had to be in Denver for the weekend. Hopefully Jeff, Travis and Nate threw down for GZ on the field. As soon as you get pics, you post em Jeff. Not much going on, the TF2 server will most likely be dropped due to a lack of population. ASGI is having a Memorial day sale and all G&G guns are 10% off. Not bad. Thats it from the news desk. CARY ON! I think these are old, but amusing non the less. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Top Quotes From the 2008 Olympics
Here are the top nine comments made by NBC sports commentators during the Summer Olympics:
1. Weightlifting commentator: 'This is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw
her snatch this morning during her warm up and it was amazing.'
2. Dressage commentator: 'This is really a lovely horse and I speak from personal experience since I once mounted her mother.'
3. Paul Hamm, Gymnast: 'I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father.'
4. Boxing Analyst: 'Sure there have been injuries, and even some deaths in boxing, but none of them really that serious.'
5. Softball announcer: 'If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again.'
6. Basketball analyst: 'He dribbles a lot and the opposition doesn't like it. In fact you can see it all over their faces.'
7. At the rowing medal ceremony: 'Ah, isn't that nice, the wife of the IOC president is hugging the cox of the British crew.'
8. Soccer commentator: 'Julian Dicks is everywhere. It's like they've got eleven Dicks on the field.'
9. Tennis commentator: 'One of the reasons Andy is playing so well is
that, before the final round, his wife takes out his balls and kisses
them... Oh my God, what have I just said?"

Next Team Fortress 2 Update: The Heavy
Devin Connors
August 14, 2008 20:50
The Heavy class in Valve's Team Fortress 2 is getting a face lift next week.
According to the official Team Fortress 2 Blog, Valve wanted to "make the Heavy more viable when he has no Medic to pair with." On Tuesday, August 19th, fans of the team-based first person shooter can expect to see a "heavy" amount of updates (pun intended), including three new weapons and 35 new achievements for the Heavy.
One of these weapons has already been revealed: a new pair of boxing gloves called the "Killing Gloves of Boxing," or KGBs. If you don the new gloves and kill an enemy, five full seconds of guaranteed critical hits will follow. Plus, the critical time can increase with every consecutive kill made with the KGBs. Some of the new achievement names include Iron Kurtain, Party Loyalty, Division of Labor, and Red Oktoberfest. The Heavy will be the third character to get upgradable weapons/abilities, following the Medic and the Pyro.
The Heavy isn't the only part of Team Fortress 2 to get a Makeover, either. A new map for the Payload game mode will be released, titled Badwater Basin, as well as a new community-made map called cp_steel, created by Jamie "Fishbus" Manson. As if new weapons, maps and achievements weren't enough, a brand new (and yet to be named) game mode is being rolled out, complimented by five new maps. Also, another segment of the "Meet the Team" videos should be expected sometime between now and Tuesday.

Crew, hope all is well. We have a strong number of players gaming each night, just hop on vent and pick your poison. Looking at the computer scene, it would be a good time to upgrade as the price of 4gb of DDR2 ram is less than 80 bucks, video cards are way less than 200 and everything else is affordable.
For those of you that play Airsoft, the GZ patch has been submitted and being worked on. I will also have it submitted for sticker production this week. Colorado's largest event, Sudden Strike 2 is being held the end of this month. I believe registration is closed though.
Thats all, game on!
